How does the ES NAS define the fixed block size of a shared folder/iSCSI LUN?

Last modified date: 2018-03-02

Block size is determined by the settings that were in place when the shared folder or iSCSI LUN was created - blocks with 8K block sizes will seek 8K blocks and blocks with 64K block sizes will seek 64K blocks. If there are two LUNs in one storage pool, both LUNs can have different block sizes, and each storage pool can also have blocks of different sizes.

You can choose the block size when creating the iSCSI LUN.
