QNAP Showcases Cost-Effective and Scalable Storage Solutions for Consumer to Enterprise-Level Needs at GITEX 2024

Taipei, Taiwan, October 24, 2024 – QNAP® Systems, Inc. (QNAP), a leader in cutting-edge storage and networking solutions, showcased its latest innovations at GITEX 2024, demonstrating how its broad range of storage solutions can drive operational efficiency, ensure data security, and offer scalable options for businesses of all sizes—while delivering value for money.

“We’ve sold over 30,000 NAS units in the Middle East from 2020 to 2023—enough to stack up to the height of eight Burj Khalifas,” said Alex Tsai, Regional Sales Manager. “This is a testament to our growing success in the region. With customizable hardware, advanced software for backup and high availability, and a robust local support network, we are poised to further expand our reach not only within the GCC countries, but also into South Asia and Africa.”

Intelligent Surveillance Solutions Tailored for SMBs

At GITEX, QNAP introduced two standout models for surveillance applications: the TVR-AI200, a compact 2-bay NAS featuring 16 PoE ports and bundled licenses, and the TS-AI642, a 6-bay tower NAS equipped with a Neural Processing Unit (NPU) to boost AI performance. Both models run on QNAP’s next-generation QVR Surveillance platform, which supports up to 95% of ONVIF®-compliant IP cameras. Users can leverage advanced applications like QVR Face, QVR Human, and QVR Smart Search for facial recognition, flow counting, Smart video search, and more.

High-Performance, Scalable Solutions for Content Creators

For creative professionals seeking 4K/8K video editing capabilities, QNAP introduced the TS-h1290FX, a 12-bay all-flash NAS supporting U.2 NVMe PCIe Gen 4/SATA drives and dual 25GbE SFP28 ports for maximum bandwidth utilization. Other notable models include the TVS-h874T, an 8-bay NAS with two Thunderbolt 4 ports and expandable JBOD support up to 396TB, and the TBS-h574TX, a portable 3-bay NAS featuring E1.S NVMe SSDs (such as Exascend® PE4 Series SSDs) compatible with M.2, Thunderbolt™ 4, and both 2.5GbE and 10GbE connectivity. QNAP also showcased a 60TB SSD in collaboration with a partner, emphasizing the platform's scalability.

Comprehensive Data Security Solutions to Counter Cyber Threats

For robust data protection, QNAP’s Boxafe solution allows users to back up emails, contacts, and calendars from Google and Microsoft 365®. Additionally, virtual machines, Windows® PCs, and servers can be managed via Hybrid Data Centers. For enhanced backup redundancy, QNAP’s myQNAPcloud provides an extra layer of backup destinations. Meanwhile, Hybrid Backup Center offers centralized monitoring of backup and recovery statuses across multiple domains or branches from a unified dashboard.

High Availability and Networking for Business Continuity

QNAP also presented high-performance 25GbE and 100GbE switches designed to accelerate business-critical applications such as high-speed storage, video editing, virtualization, and AI processing. L3 Lite switches with 10GbE and 100GbE connectivity featuring Multi-chassis Link Aggregation (MC-LAG) were also displayed, ensuring seamless switch networking, high availability, fault tolerance, and superior reliability.

The availability of these new solutions will be announced separately. For more information about QNAP products and features, please visit www.qnap.com.
