You may have been receiving a disk error message in system event log:

"[Disk S.M.A.R.T.] Host: Disk 7 still has warning/error condition. Please check summary page."

In the SMART Information page of the disk, it shows 'Current Pending Sector Count' is not good or in error.

Current Pending Sector Count is a critical S.M.A.R.T. parameter that indicates the number of unstable sectors on the disk drive that are yet to be remapped or reallocated.

A rise in Current Pending Sector Count may mean there are unstable sectors on the disk drive. If the count of pending sectors increases with time or receiving warning/error from S.M.A.R.T. scan, it’s time to replace the disk drive.
