How can I fix slow wireless connection issues on my QHora-301W router?

Overview
The router could be experiencing slow network connection issues because of the wireless regulatory domain issues, or other network issues because of the router or the ISP. Try the following troubleshooting steps and if the problem persists, QNAP recommends contacting the ISP or submit a support ticket with QNAP Customer Service.

Configuring the wireless domain settings correctly
- Log into QuRouter.
- Check if the Basic Wireless Mode status is displayed in the Dashboard screen.
- Click on Basic Wireless Mode.
- Select the current location of the device.
- Click OK.
QuRouter enables all the wireless functions of the router.
Checking ISP network connectivity
- Create a LAN connection between the router and your computer using a network cable.
- Check if you are experiencing the same issue with a wired connection.
Rebooting the router
- Log into QuRouter.
- Go to System > System Settings > Restart / Reset / Backup / Restore.
- Click Restart.
Checking the wireless speed in close proximity
- Check whether the connected devices are operating within close range of the router.
- Check whether there are other competing networks on the same or overlapping channel.
Move the connected device closer to the router, adjust the height of the router, or remove any physical obstructions between the router and the client device.
Checking wireless signal connectivity using a third-party application
Install any third-party analyzing tool such as WiFi Analyzer on your device.
The tool will examine the connection, and identify any issues associated with the wireless signal. It can also provide information about overlapping wireless signal.
