Why does WOL not work on 2.5GB network port on TS-X31P3?

Limitations

Wake On LAN (WOL) is not supported on the 2.5 GbE network port for the TS-x31P3 series NAS model due to hardware limitations. However, the 1GbE network port does support the WOL feature.

Note: WOL functionality is not supported when combining 2.5GbE and 1GbE ports in a port trunking configuration.
