Qsync

Details

By default, Qsync excludes certain file types, including files with the .part extension, from synchronization. These files are usually temporary and used by download managers.

To resolve sync issues or re-initiate synchronization, follow these steps:

A. Enable Sync for Specific File Extensions (If Necessary)

    1. Open Qsync Client on your PC.

    2. Go to Settings > Sync Filters.

    3. Check the list of excluded file types.

    4. If .part is listed and you want to sync these files, remove *.part from the exclusion list.

    5. Click Apply to save the settings.

Info
Syncing temporary files like .part is generally not recommended unless necessary.

B. Resync Existing Files Manually

    1. On the PC, open Qsync Client and click Pause Sync.

    2. On the NAS, go to App Center and stop the Qsync Central service.

    3. Reboot the NAS.

    4. PC click Resume Sync.

    5. Right-click the Qsync icon in the system tray and select Sync Now to force a full scan and sync.

This will allow the Qsync Client to re-scan the local folder and re-initiate synchronization with the NAS.
