How do I fix sync errors in Qsync Client?

Overview
When synchronizing files between your NAS and your PC or Mac, Qsync may not be able to sync some files under certain circumstances, and an error log will be produced in Qsync Client.
This tutorial explains how to resolve some common Qysnc sync errors.
Error Types
If Qsync cannot sync a file, an error log will be produced in the File Update Center or Sync Errors (Qsync Client 5.0.9 and later) window of Qsync Client. The error log will contain details on the error Qsync encountered. Below are the most common types of errors:
Access denied
If your NAS user account (that you provided at the Qsync login window) does not have both read and write permissions on the paired folder, then Qysnc cannot sync files in that folder. In this case, even if you add the folder to the paired folders list in Qysnc Client, no files will be downloaded or uploaded.
Solution
Contact a NAS administrators to ensure you have read and write permissions for the NAS paired folder and its subfolders. After access permissions have been granted, try to sync the files again.
The filename or file extension is too long
Qsync cannot sync files and folders whose names are more than 255 characters, including dots and file extension.
Solution
Rename the file or folder with 255 characters or less.
Qsync was unable to sync this file or folder because its name contains invalid characters. Try renaming this file or folder
Qsync cannot sync files and folders with names containing any of the special characters below:

Rename the file or folder by removing the special characters.
This folder cannot be synced because it contains too many files. Qsync can sync folders containing a maximum of certain files. Limit each folder to less than certain files to allow syncing
In order to keep the NAS running smoothly, Qsync avoids excessive consumption of NAS resources, such as CPU cycles and memory, when syncing files by limiting the maximum number of files per folder that can be synced. If a folder contains more than this number, excluding files in subfolders, Qysnc will not sync the files in that folder. The maximum number of files per folder depends on the available memory of the NAS:

Solution
If you have a large number of files in a folder, you can restructure the folder by moving the files into subfolders or external folders.
Qsync was unable to sync this file because it is larger than 500GB
To ensure NAS system stability, Qsync can only synchronize files up to 500GB in size.
