What is the purpose of having maximum log records for each applet?

Answer:

For each applet, there is a limit on the number of logs that can be saved on the NAS. It is done to save space on the NAS. The maximum value for this number is 500. Once an applet has crossed 500 log records, the older ones will be automatically deleted.
