Centrally Manage Multiple Email Accounts with the new QNAP QmailAgent (Beta)

Taipei, Taiwan, September 15, 2016 - QNAP® Systems, Inc. today released QmailAgent Beta for users to centrally manage multiple email accounts. QmailAgent supports mainstream email services (including Gmail™, Yahoo®, and Outlook®) and all IMAP-based email servers. Coupled with the huge storage potential provided by QNAP NAS, users can securely backup their emails and attachments.

“Alongside the convenience of managing multiple email accounts from a single interface, QmailAgent also provides greater privacy and security by allowing users to access their emails from the same IP address no matter where they are physically located,” said Cherry Wang, QNAP Product Manager.

QmailAgent allows users to quickly switch between email accounts to browse, reply to, and forward emails. Attachments can also be viewed, saved to the NAS, and attached directly from the NAS to outgoing emails. When importing email accounts, existing emails can be automatically backed up to the NAS for greater file security. These backed-up emails can be directly opened and searched through for greater convenience.

QmailAgent is complimented with Qcontactz (a contacts management app for QNAP NAS) that allows users to quickly send emails to existing contacts, and automatically remembers frequently-used contacts.

Availability

QmailAgent Beta is now available from the QTS App Center. For more information about QmailAgent, please visit https://www.qnap.com/solution/qmailagent/th-th/.
