Why am I unable to add the NAS to Q’center using my QNAP ID?

If your NAS firmware has already been updated to 4.4.2 (or later versions), Q’center may display the error message “Cannot reach server” when you try to add the NAS to Q’center using your QNAP ID. This is because myQNAPcloud does not set NAS web service as a published service for your QNAP ID by default.

To resolve this issue, follow these steps.

  1. Log in to the NAS that you want to add to Q’center.
  2. Go to myQNAPcloud > Publish Services.
  3. Locate “NAS Web” from the service list.
  4. Select Publish and then click Apply.
  5. Go to Q’center and then add this NAS using your QNAP ID.
