How to manually load Apache Web Server modules on a NAS?

Editing apache.conf

  1. Use SSH to log in to the NAS.

  2. Use a screen-oriented text editor to edit apache.conf.

    1. Open /etc/config/apache/apache.conf
    2. Add any additional modules.
      For example: LoadModule allowmethods_module modules/mod_allowmethods.so
    3. Save and exit.
  3. Use the command /etc/init.d/Qthttpd.sh restart to reload Apache modules.
     

Viewing and confirming available Apache modules

  1. Use the command ls -a /usr/local/apache/modules to see available Apache module list

  2. Use the command /usr/local/apache/bin/apachectl -M to confirm the Apache modules after reload .

Undoing changes to apache.conf

  1. Log in to QTS as an administrator.
  2. Go to Control Panel > Applications > Web Server > Web Server > Maintenance.
  3. Click Restore.
