Solution

Warning
We strongly recommend not enabling SMB version 1. This version of SMB has critical security vulnerabilities. Instead, update your other Windows devices to support SMB version 2 or 3.
Must be admin
Other administrator not able to get root permission in 4.2.6/4.3.3/4.3.4.
Please enable admin and disable after all jobs done.


Open a Secure Shell (SSH) connection to your QNAP NAS.

Enter the following commands in the terminal:

[~] # setcfg -e Samba 'Min Protocol'
[~] # setcfg -e global 'min protocol' -f /etc/config/smb.conf
[~] # /etc/init.d/smb.sh restart
