How do I replicate data from a QTS NAS to a QES NAS using rsync?

When replicating data using rsync from a QTS NAS, such as a TES-3085U, to a QES NAS, the job may fail. This is because the rsync servers built into QTS and QES use different authentication methods.

To resolve this problem, install the app HBS on the QTS NAS, and then use HBS to replicate data to the QES NAS. HBS has a dedicated option for backing up data to a QES NAS using rsync, which you can enable when creating a remote rsync server profile.
