Why are the logs exported from Qulog Center garbled?
Applicable Products
Qulog Center
Symptom
Logs exported from QuLog Center are saved as a CSV file that uses UTF-8 encoding. If you open this CSV file in a spreadsheet application that uses another encoding format (for example: Microsoft Excel uses ANSI by default), then certain characters such as Chinese, Japanese, and Korean text may be garbled and unreadable.
Workaround
- Open the exported CSV file in Notepad.
- Click File > Save as...
- Change Encoding to "UTF-8 with BOM".
- Save the file.
- Reopen the file in your spreadsheet application.
