Answer
High availability (HA) is based on an active-passive architecture, where one device (the active node) in the HA cluster actively provides services, while the other device (the passive node) continuously syncs data from the active node. This allows a failover to take place, where the passive node automatically and immediately takes over services on the active node if and when the active node fails, ensuring minimal downtime and uninterrupted service.
