Need to replace a HDD but your current HDD model is no more available

If you are using RAID 1, RAID 5, RAID 6 or any another RAID that user parity and have Failing HDD. You need to replace it, but what to do if  the HDD model is already EOL and you can not find it in the market. Then you will need to replace it with another HDD with the same size or bigger (you will not able to use the extra space if the HDD is bigger than your original one) from the compatibility list of your NAS model.
