Note: If you meet the situation that you only use a little space on the NAS but system logs keep warming that Storage Pool full. Please refer to this link first.

There are two main settings for the remaining free space alerts.

For storage pools and their individual volumes

1. Open Control Panel > System > Storage&Snapshots

2. Navigate to the Storage/Snapshots on the left

3. Here you may select a pool to set the threshold for. Click on the Manage button and then the Set Threshold button in the newly opened window. Enable the option and input your desired value in percentages (the default value is 80%).

4. You can also set a threshold for individual volumes inside a storage pool. Open the pool, select the volume and click Actions > Set Threshold. Input a value in percentages (the default value is 80%).

Only for legacy volume

1. Open Control Panel > System > Hardware

2. Check or uncheck Enable light signal alert when the storage size is less than the value

3. Input a value you would like to receive alerts under. Please note the minimum value is 1024 MB.

Please note that adjusting these alerts is only possible on QNAP models that are running the newer HAL firmware.
