QNAP Announces the Availability of New V3.5.1 NAS Management Software for Most Turbo NAS Models with Mac OS X Compatibility Enhancements
Taipei, Taiwan, October 04, 2011 – QNAP® Inc. today announced new V3.5.1 NAS management software for its Turbo NAS series. The new firmware enhances compatibility with Mac OS X. “The time to get connected to the Turbo NAS via AFP is greatly reduced and now it only takes 2 seconds on average,” said Jason Hsu, a QNAP product manager. The new 3.5.1 version also enhances compatibility with Apple Open Directory LDAP directory service and Mac OS X Server 10.7 FTP connection via QNAP Real-Time Remote Replication (RTRR).
