How can I configure NAS shared folder permissions in Windows?

Procedure
- Configure the Shared Folder settings.
- Go to Control Panel > Privilege > Shared Folders > Advanced permissions.
- Select Advanced Folder Permissions.
- Select Enable Windows ACL Support.
- Click Apply.
- Enable Microsoft Networking settings.
- Go to Control Panel > Network & File Services > Win/Mac/NFS/WebDAV > Microsoft Networking
- Select Enable file service for Microsoft networking.
- Click Apply.
- Map the NAS shared folder to the device.
- On the Windows device, open File Explorer.
- In the left panel, click This PC.
- In the top panel, click Map network drive > Map network drive.
The Map Network Drive window opens. - Select a drive letter to assign to the Shared Folder.
- Enter the address of the shared folder.
Follow the format\\{NAS_IP_Address}\{Shared_Folder_Name}
- Select Reconnect at sign-in.
- Select Connect using different credentials.
- Click Finish.
An authentication window opens. - Enter the user credentials to access the NAS.
- Configure subfolder permissions.
- On the Windows device, identify a subfolder within the NAS shared folder.
- Right-click the subfolder and select Properties.
The properties window opens. - Go to the Security tab and click Edit.
The permissions window opens. - Select a user in the Group or user names section.
- Specify permissions to allow or deny in the permissions section.
- Click OK.
The permissions window closes. - Click OK.
The properties window closes.
