Why is my Port Trunking configuration missing after system migration?

Applied Models:

Answer:

Port Trunking is bonding multiple network interfaces by their own MAC address. If you migrate the system from an old NAS to a new one, the system will remove the Port Trunking configuration because it cannot detect the original device.

Please refer to the following link:
http://docs.qnap.com/nas/4.2/SMB/en/index.html?system_migration.htm

Note: For the same reason, if you replace/upgrade a network device, the Port Trunking configuration will also be removed.
