Why is it recommended to disable UPnP service on the router?

Although Universal Plug and Play (UPnP) service offers almost zero-configuration to establish the NAT-transversal connection automatically, the convenience may bring security concerns at the same time as you may not know which ports on the router configured forwarding from which devices. To maximize security, we strongly recommend disabling the UPnP service on QNAP NAS and your network router.
