How do I calculate folder size in File Station?

File Station in QTS 4.4.1 or later versions

Solution

Follow the steps below to calculate the folder size:

Log in to QTS.
Open File Station.
Right click on a folder, and select Properties.
Click on the calculator icon next to Size, and File Station will start to calculate the size and show the result when calculation is complete.

Note:

If the calculation took more than 5 minutes, a system message will appear to inform you that the calculation will resume as a background task. You can check the progress and result in Background Tasks. This message will only appear in QTS 5.1.0 or later versions.
You can check the size of a root shared folder by going to Control Panel > Privilege > Shared Folders.
You can also calculate a folder size via SSH with the command line: du -sh /share/Folder_Path/
