After a NAS has joined a domain, Mac computers cannot connect to the NAS with SMB using a local user account for authentication. How can I resolve this problem?

When connecting with SMB on a Mac computer, you need to add the NAS name followed by a backslash \ before the username. For example, if your NAS is named “qnapnas” and you want to connect using local NAS user account “nasuser1”, then your username will be “qnapnas\nasuser1”.
