You can hide a shared folder on your NAS so that it becomes invisible to Windows networks only. However, users can still access the hidden folder via a Windows network if they know the folder's full path.

  1. Go to Control Panel > Privilege > Shared Folders.
  2. Identify a shared folder to hide from Windows networks.
  3. Under Action, click the Edit Properties icon.
    The Edit Properties window opens.
  4. Select Hide network drive.
  5. Click OK.
The system hides the selected folder from Windows networks.
