You can hide a shared folder on your NAS so that it becomes invisible to Windows networks only. However, users can still access the hidden folder via a Windows network if they know the folder's full path.
- Go to Control Panel > Privilege > Shared Folders.
- Identify a shared folder to hide from Windows networks.
- Under Action, click the Edit Properties icon.
The Edit Properties window opens. - Select Hide network drive.
- Click OK.
The system hides the selected folder from Windows networks.
