How many virtual machines can I deploy in Virtualization Station on QuTS hero?

QuTS hero, Virtualization Station

Details

There are no specific limitations on the number of virtual machines (VMs) that you can deploy in Virtualization Station. The maximum number is determined by the memory available on your device.

A specific example:

If you have a NAS model with 128GB of RAM, around 18GB is used by the system. Additionally, 75% of the memory is reserved for ARC RAM usage, leaving a total of 25GB of memory available for VMs and other applications. This means you may create three Windows Server VMs with 8GB of memory, or six Ubuntu VMs with 4GB of memory.

Note
You can adjust ARC RAM usage to increase the memory available to VMs, but it will negatively impact the I/O performance of your ZFS pool.
