Is it possible to access WebDAV shares in the web browser without credentials?

Unfortunately it is not possible to access webDAV shared folders using a web browser, because most of the new web browsers implemented a security layer that does not allow authentication using anonymous or guest users.

If it is necessary to authenticate with guest users in webDAV, the folder need to use a third party webDAV client and to grant guest users permission to access the shared folders.

If you are using “Shared folder permissions” for webDAV, you have to enable it in the shared folder permissions

If you are using WebDAV permissions you can find it on the bottom of the table.

Another possibility is to map WebDAV shared folder as network drive and use the follow credentials

User: guest

Password: guest
