How can I hide a shared folder?

Note: This article explains how to hide a shared folder, for information on deleting a shared folder, see here.

Go to Control Panel > Privilege > Shared Folders
Identify a shared folder to hide.
Under Action, click Edit Properties*. *The Edit Properties dialog box opens.
Select Hide network drive.
Click OK.

The system hides the folder.

Important: The folder is still accessible by approved users who manually enter the path.
