How can I determine the warranty status of my QNAP device?

Note: This article only applies to hardware warranties. For assistance with software issues, contact QNAP support.
- Identify the NAS model number for the NAS.
- Identify the Serial Number of the NAS, For details, see here.
- Use the serial number to identify the exact model number on your QNAP Account.
- Identify the standard warranty period.
- Go to Product Warranty page.
- At the bottom, search for the exact model number of your device.
- Add the standard warranty period to the device purchase date.
For example, the Product Warranty page lists a device as having a 2 year warranty. If the device was purchased on July 30, 2021, the warranty expires on July 30, 2023.
