How can I determine the warranty status of my QNAP device?

Note: This article only applies to hardware warranties. For assistance with software issues, contact QNAP support.

  1. Identify the NAS model number for the NAS.
  2. Identify the Serial Number of the NAS, For details, see here.
  3. Use the serial number to identify the exact model number on your QNAP Account.
  4. Identify the standard warranty period.
  5. Go to Product Warranty page.
  6. At the bottom, search for the exact model number of your device.
  7. Add the standard warranty period to the device purchase date.

For example, the Product Warranty page lists a device as having a 2 year warranty. If the device was purchased on July 30, 2021, the warranty expires on July 30, 2023.
