QVR Pro

QVR Elite

Overview

QVR Pro and QVR Elite provide support for more than 6,700 cameras over 190 brands. However, some cameras are not listed in the compatibility list in time due to vendors also updating their product lines. This document provides a faster way to get your camera to work with QVR Pro and QVR Elite.

Recommendation

The ONVIF protocol is a widely-used protocol for IP cameras. Almost all recent standard cameras support this protocol to allow direct control of the camera and sending video streams. QVR Pro and QVR Elite can also add these cameras as ONVIF cameras, providing the same services as cameras listed in the compatibility list.

You need to add the camera as Profile T cameras if it supports the PTZ feature. All other cameras can be added as Profile S cameras.

Note: Some cameras need you to manually turn on ONVIF support. Refer to each camera's manual for details.

Special Cameras

In the case of fish-eye, 360°, non-flat cameras, or cameras that provide specific AI features that need to be integrated into QVR Pro/Elite's event features, contact us directly and we will test and include the support in upcoming releases.
