My TR-002/TR-004 cannot be detected. How do I check if it is broken?

Details

  • Ensure that there is at least one drive installed in the TR device.
  • Use another USB-C cable to connect the TR device to your PC/Mac/NAS.
  • Connect the TR device to another USB port on your PC/Mac/NAS.
  • Test if the TR device can be detected by another PC/Mac/NAS.
  • Power off the TR device, remove all the drives (remember to note their original positions), and install a spare working drive in the TR device. Power on and connect it to your PC/Mac/NAS.

If your problem persists, please contact QNAP Customer Service.

Note

If the TR device can be detected by QNAP External RAID Manager, please provide logs when contacting QNAP Customer Service.
