How do I stop disconnections from occurring when I use Mac OS X to mount and upload files to an NFSv4 shared folder?

Applied Models:

Answer:

This is caused by a compatibility issue between Mac OS X and the Linux kernel used by the QNAP NAS operating system. To mount shared folders via NFSv4, use the command:
mount -t nfs -o  vers=4,nocallback IP address:/shared folder name /mount point.
