Why did my Storage Manager fail to install during NAS initialization?
Applicable Products
- QuTS hero h5.3.0 or later
- Storage Manager
Scenario
Under normal circumstances, after you initialize your NAS and log in, Storage Manager should be installed. However, if an installed disk is faulty, it may corrupt installation files, causing the application to fail to install.
Solution
Replace the faulty disk and then restart the system. The system will automatically install Storage Manager after the restart.
If Storage Manager still fails to install after the restart, please contact QNAP support for assistance.
