Why can't I list AD users/groups?

Last modified date: 2022-06-24
Applicable Products:
  • All NAS series

Please check and make sure your NAS is joined to the AD domain properly and the network connection between the NAS and AD domain server is good first. Furthermore, you can also try to re-run the domain join wizard without quitting the domain. (Note: DO NOT dis-join your NAS from the  domain).

If the problem still exists, you may try to collect the information below:
Use these two commands in the NAS console via SSH and take screenshots of the commands outputs:
1. List AD domain user:
    # wbinfo -u
2. List AD domain group:
    # wbinfo -g
and then enclose them while creating a support ticket in the helpdesk to expedite the process.
