If you are Trying to import an ovpn file into QVPN and get the error message that it's not a regular file. This is probably because your open VPN server is not compatible with the implementation of openVPN in QNAP QVPN client.

QVPN client is a limited client though to connect another QNAP NAS, some of the standard variables in the Openvpn config files are not compatible with it.
