My mobile apps no longer connect to my QNAP devices via myQNAPcloud Link after February 29, 2024. How to fix this issue?

Symptom

Some users may encounter an issue where their mobile apps or utilities can no longer remotely access the NAS via myQNAPcloud Link after February 29, 2024.


Solution

To fix this issue, update your myQNAPcloud Link, QNAP mobile apps and utilities to their latest versions. 

  • To update myQNAPcloud Link, go to the App Center on the NAS. 
  • To update your mobile apps, go to the Apple App Store or Google Play Store on your mobile device.
  • To update QNAP Utilities, visit QNAP Utilities

Note
You need to update myQNAPcloud Link to 2.4.52 (or later), which requires QTS 4.3.3 (or later).
