Removing Port Trunking can lose Virtual Switch settings.

But you can recreate the Virtual Switch, and select an Adapter to connect the Virtual Switch to.

If there is a Virtual Machine configured on the NAS, you can reconfigure the virtual machine in Virtualization Station to use the recreated Virtual Switch.
