In Qfile’s auto upload settings page, how does “Scan and upload” work when it’s set as upload rules?
Solution:
Scan and Upload:
By selecting this option, Qfile scans the contents of the destination folder when you set up Auto upload, and then uploads the files not found in the destination folder and files added after the setup. Please note, its scan rule is.1. by filename and 2. it only scans once right after an auto upload setting is set. In this case, if you delete a file in the destination folder after the task had been completed in the past, Qfile will not upload the same file from your phone to NAS again unless you reset your auto upload settings again.
Here are some scenarios to better explain how it works:

There is a picture called IMG_0001.JPG, IMG_0002.JPG, and IMG_0003.JPG in a phone.

Set up auto upload for the first time in Qfile with “Scan and upload” selected and the destination folder in a NAS is set to “Camera Uploads”. At this moment, this folder is empty; there is no file in “Camera Uploads”.

IMG_0001.JPG, IMG_0002.JPG, and IMG_0003.JPG will be uploaded to “Camera Uploads” in the NAS.

Remove IMG_0001.JPG from “Camera Uploads” in the NAS.Qfile will NOT upload IMG_0001.JPG afterward.

Now, delete current auto upload settings from Qfile and then set it up again with exactly the same settings. Qfile will:
A. ONLYUpload IMG_0001.JPGto “Camera Uploads” in the NAS and skipIMG_0002.JPG, and IMG_0003.JPG when “Use original filename” is enabled.
B. UploadALL 3 files IMG_0001.JPG, IMG_0002.JPG, and IMG_0003.JPG to “Camera Uploads” in the NAS again as YYYY-MM-DD hh:mm:ss.JPG, YYYY-MM-DD hh:mm:ss.JPG, and YYYY-MM-DD hh:mm:ss.JPG if “Use original
