If you received your NAS, for example a TS-H1283XU-RP-128G. And you found a 10Gbase-T NIC has been installed on slot 2.

According to QNAP website, 10Gbase-T nic was on slot 3.

You do not need to change it, according to the specification of the NAS, the card can be mounted in both ports without any problem, so there is no need for correction.

Also if you leave the card in slot 2 it should be better ventilated because of the space between the cards, but it should work properly in both of them.
