Why does the Qsync file status change from online only to locally available when I select the file in macOS Finder?

Qsync Client 5.0.0 (or later) for macOS 12 or later

With Qysnc Client on macOS 12 or later, selecting an online-only file in Finder while the preview panel is open will trigger Finder to download the file from the NAS. Finder needs to download the file in order to generate a preview. After Finder has downloaded the file, the file status will change to locally available. This is not a bug with Qsync, it is the default behavior of Finder when the preview panel is open.To prevent a file download when selecting a file, disable the preview panel by following these steps:

Open Finder on macOS.
Control-click on an empty area in Finder.
A context menu opens.
Select Show View Options.
The view options window opens.
Deselect Show preview column.
Close the view options window.
macOS disables the preview panel.
