Answer:

Please make sure that your router supports UPnP. If it does not, please read Q: “If my router does not support UPnP, can I still use the myQNAPcloud service?”

If your router DOES support UPnP please check:

1. Please check whether your myQNAPcloud has been enabled. If not, please select “Auto Router Configuration” and make sure that it has been successfully configured. If you are still encountering problems of service connection, please contact us via helpdesk.qnap.com.

2. Please make sure that your network connection is stable and you are connected to the Internet. If it is, please reboot the Turbo NAS and try again.

If you are not connected to the Internet, please try restarting the NAS and see if it connects. If you are still having problems with myQNAPcloud, please contact us via helpdesk.qnap.com.

3. Please make sure that the Turbo NAS is connected to the same local network if you have multiple UPnP routers. If your NAS is connected to the same network as your router, try going through the myQNAPcloud wizard again and see if the NAS has successfully connected to the router. If you are still having trouble connecting your NAS, please contact us via helpdesk.qnap.com

If you are not experiencing any of the scenarios above, it may be that your Internet access is restricted due to your work environment such as firewall or country restrictions. Please contact us via helpdesk.qnap.com for more assistance.
