If you use the default job settings in a Hybrid Backup Sync (HBS) backup or sync job, when the job runs it will not transfer extended attributes in the source folder to the destination folder.
To include extended attributes in an HBS backup job or sync job, make sure to enable Replicate ACL and extended attributes in the job settings. You can find the setting in the job creation or job editing window by going to Rules > Policies > Advanced settings.
