Solution

Three-layer Qtier storage pool consists of three performance drives which are Ultra-performance (NVMe SSD, SATA SSD), High-performance (SAS HDD), and High-capacity (SATA HDD).

In QTS 5.0.1 and older, the NVMe SSD is still not supported to be a part of Qtier storage pool. This feature is scheduled to be supported in QTS 5.1.0 and later versions.

Note: For two-layered Qtier storage, NMVe SSD is supported on all FW versions.
