Procedure

  1. Identify the model number and serial number (also referred to as an SN or S/N) of your device. For more information, click here.
  2. Use the serial number to identify the exact model number on your QNAP Account.
  3. Identify the standard warranty period.
  4. Go to the Product Warranty page.
  5. Under Check Standard Warranty and Available Warranty Plans, find your device based on the product type, number of bays, and model number.
  6. Add the standard warranty period to the device purchase date.

For example: The Product Warranty page lists a device as having a 2 year warranty. If the device was purchased on July 30, 2021, the warranty expires on July 30, 2023.
