Should I save the encryption key in my NAS?

It is not suggested to save the encryption key on the NAS, as this may result in unauthorized data access, for example, by any unauthorized personnel with physical access to the NAS.
Do note however, if you forget the encryption password and does not have the encryption key saved, the data cannot be decrypted and all data will be inaccessible.
