Why has Qsync added the phrase “(Conflicted encode (x))” to the end of a file or folder name?

For some languages, there are several ways to input the same character using a keyboard. The characters will appear the same to the user, but they are not the same to different operating systems and Qsync. Two formats that may cause conflicts are Unicode NFC and Unicode NFD.
When Qsync detects a Unicode encoding conflict, it will append “(Conflicted encode (x))” to the name of the conflicted file or folder.
