The TS-809 Pro is a versatile device for companies that need a flexible and powerful solution. The TS-419P reviewed today shares all the same features as TS-219P but also increases the storage capacity to four drives instead of two while also adding an LCD to the front.  If you are looking for more storage for your home theater environment this is a good solution.  It's more than capable of streaming HD content to and from your HTPC without causing any buffering.  And with a max storage capacity of 8TB it's hard to go wrong.  After using the review unit for a couple of weeks I have seen nothing but stability from it.  It runs silently and uses very little power.  With the addition of the other features that QNAP has designed into their units which are accessible via a nice looking, easy to use interface, the TS-419P offering is a very good product.  Its size and looks allow it to fit into almost any setting and QNAP has suggested a reasonable price for what you get @ $599.  All in all, if this unit fits your needs you will not have any regrets.

QNAP has again surprised us. The TS-219P is very fast on read and write speeds, makes it suitable as a NAS to multiple clients simultaneously, including as storage space for space-hungry HDTV broadcasts. Finally, we commend it for its very low power consumption. It will not overload electric bill very much, either during use or in hibernation.

The QNAP TS-219P is a device that is able to interface with the LAN network to offer the best for an efficient network. It looks great and simply to use. The materials are amazing and the metal parts give it a robust and secure feeling. On the front side we can see 4 led indicators that indicate which unit we are using. The hot-swap design allows to install up to 2 SATA 3,5" hard disk (one of every bay).

The TS-219P include the NetBakReplicator software that allows to make backups of a Windows system on a specific folder on the NAS in a simply way, useful also for not expert users. We have only positive things to say about the TS-219P. The final verdict is extremely positive: reliability, robustness, a easy-to-use management interface and an affordable price.

The Media Player from QNAP offers a good choice of online contents. More of quantity we were astonished by the quality! Near the traditional internet radios and SHOUTcast we can find the possibility to access directly to Flickr for photos and YouTube for videos.

It is also possible to use the NMP-1000 as a NAS with download station for BitTorrent that, thanks to integrated client gives you the drag’n’drop function to put torrent in queue through a remote desktop computer.
