Cross-platform Sharing with Antivirus
The TS-219P II supports SMB/CIFS with folder aggregation, NFS and AFP protocols for file sharing across Windows, Mac, Linux/UNIX networks. User accounts and shared folders can be created via the user-friendly web-based interface without IT expertise. The antivirus feature ensures business continuity by offering manual and scheduled virus scan against the latest viruses, malware, worms, and Trojan horses.
AES 256-bit Hardware Encryption*
The Turbo NAS supports volume-based encryption to protect sensitive data. A security key or password is required to mount an encrypted volume when the Turbo NAS boots up. All the data cannot be accessed without the encryption key. It prevents the Turbo NAS data from unauthorized access and data breach even if the hard drives or the device were stolen.

Windows Active Directory and LDAP Directory Service

The smart fan monitors the system temperature of the TS-219P II and automatically adjusts its speed to ensure quiet operation and power saving. The hard drives can be set to enter standby mode after a period of idling to reduce power consumption and extend hard drive lifespan. Scheduled power on/off feature provides flexibility to only allow the TS-219P II to operate in designated time and therefore minimize power usage.
