We are certainly impressed with the QNAP TS-439 Turbo NAS unit. Next to an elegant and stylish design, it is just loaded with features. I have barely touched and shown the surface of all it's features. In fact there are so many features that it might be nearly overwhelming for some of you.
QNAP TS-119 is a product carefully designed and beautifully executed. Of the brushed aluminum casing is made neatly and look elegant at the same time improves the draining heat. The lack of active cooling can save the device as a plus - TS119 is almost quiet.
The values obtained for the use of transfer of TS-119 should satisfy both home users and small offices also.

QNAP TS-639 Pro Turbo Station NAS Server offers excellent performance as a server along with a host of features on top of the usual ease of use and flexibility. Anybody with rudimentary knowledge of the network can set it up and maintain it - lowering the cost of maintenance as well as the skills required to run it. With the ability to support two separate networks and grow in space when required (without having to be turned off!) the NAS offers plenty of savings and flexibility over a normal server. These features make the NAS perfect for a mid scale organization on the verge of expanding or a large scale organization seeking to replace or upgrade an old server system.
I'm glad to see a very detailed manual in russian. The software has become more diverse. We haven't attracted attention to the fact that this is the first NAS with the latest Intel Atom onboard. This CPU is a bit slower than the Intel Celeron used in the TS-509, though both NAS’es work fast. Atom's advantage is its lower power consumption. At night, when the NAS downloads data from the Internet the TS-439 Pro consumes not more than 40-50 W which looks great.

This is an excellent showing from QNAP. Their NAS units have always exceeded my expectations by offering an impressive feature set and quality construction that consistently goes above and beyond the competition. The TS-439 Pro NAS continues that trend and utilizes the power of the Intel Atom processor, making for a robust yet efficient way to centralize not just storage but many other network operations as well. The 1.6 GHz Atom processor combined with 1GB of RAM means this powerful unit will be ready to take on networks both large and small
If you're considering a NAS for your business network or are looking to upgrade an existing one, it's worth it to take a close look at the TS-439 Pro. I think you'll agree that in the end, it will make other NAS units look like toys.
The TS-109 II is one of the most flexible and powerful NAS solutions on the market. We've been impressed by functionalities of this product, in particlar of the transfer rate performances. This performances usually for home users are demanded to other very expensive servers that are bigger and noisy. This is not the case of the TS-109 II that is really a very quiet and compact system.
One of the best thing you can find, is support for Web Server with support for php-myadmin and MySQL. This powerful device can act also as a Backup- FTP- Server and for remote applications. Also on multimedia side this product is perfect!
For this and other considerations we've decided to award it with our top award Best Buy!
QNAP TS-119 has great improvement with previous product reviews. Adopting Marvell 1.2 GHz CPU and large-sized 512MB DDRII RAM, the Turbo NAS maintains superior performance even when there is intensive access to the network services of the server simultaneously. New AJAX UI makes it more fantsy and user friendly.
I found the TS-439 very easy to setup and use. The NAS served up files at reasonable speeds, and the performances of NFS was excellent. I am happy with the media server functionality and it was very simple to get my media served up to my PS3.
| Features | 5/5 | Wow, really, wow! For a tiny box the TS-439 is packed full of features. RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 5 + spare, and JBOD support with four HDDs. Full on Web Server, MySQL server, and many many other features. All it's missing is the kitchen sink. |
| Performance | 5/5 | Like with the feature set, QNAP did not leave performance at home with the TS-439. It brings it, and brings it hard. With the TS-439 connected over Gigabit, you get FireWire 800-like speeds, and even better performance can be expected while using both Gigabit ports. Let's also not forget to mention that the online interface is very fast and responsive. |

- Feature-rich Applications for Business
QNAP TS-209 Pro II is a good choice for a file-server which is equipped with a set of multimedia features and which produces little noise. I think that this NAS fits into a home interior better than the Thecus - its black mirror front panel looks stylish. The exterior really deserves praising.
